ICYMI: Research of a new type should be supported to identify more disease sets for which joint and complex care plans are appropriate. Academic internal medicine wards and clinic settings are a natural home for research of this nature. https://t.co/uS4Pq

A call for co-intervention studies in multimorbidities
Hallelujah! At last an attempt to break up the non-physiological division of organ systems into discrete autonomously-functioning body parts. What is bad (or good) for one organ clearly affects other body parts - i.e. nutrition or lack of it!

What we need to learn about multimorbidity. "Patients with multimorbidity know a lot about their predicament and should be helpful collaborators." https://t.co/WZ8JDTZBKw
What we have to learn is as important as trying to work in interdisciplinarity. Not just additions of paralell facts, knowledges, symptoms and expertises. And for the patients’ experience of disease, it’s also another dimension.
